Audio-only clip: "Family Resources-Judy Kleinberg"

A simple, low-cost way to get started in media streaming is by using audio clips. Since there are no visual elements, they are easy to produce and perfect for timely or recurring announcements.

Benefits:
Easy to produce using inexpensive tools.
Verstile. Souces can include voicemail messages, audio from videotape, webclips.
Smaller files load faster.

Slde show: "Canopy"

A step up from the audio-only programs, these simple projects combine still images with music and/or narration. This technique brings an old fashioned slide show to into the electronic age.

Benefits:
Low cost.
Quick turnaound.
Easier to use existing still images than to shoot new video footage.

Studio PSA: "EPA Most Wanted" with Officer Lopez

In less than an hour, you can record a simple, straightforward public service announcement. It entails minimal editing and graphics.

Benefits:

Includes production assistance for scripting and delivery.
Quick turnaround.
Easy to update.

Pricing: $350-$500

Documentary profile: Tall Tree Award "CHC"

Typically shorter than a full documentary, these projects convey a wealth of information at a glance. The production combines "B roll" footage with on-camera interviews.

Benefits:
Fairly quick production time.
Shot on location to enhance "look and feel"
A lot of information in a short amount of time.

Studio presentation: "Atherton State of the Town"

Like the studio PSA, this type of program is easy to produce and relatively inexpensive. It is especially effective when combined with PowerPoint slides.

A simple way to reach a larger constituency.
Low cost.
Quick turnaround.
Live switching between camera and graphics..requires no editing.

Pricing: $700-$1,000

Produced PSA: Media Center classes "Dave"

A classic well produced "commercial" or public service announcement combines scripting, field production, and editing. This gives the piece much more production value.

Benefits:

Can use many different styles including humor, drama, or straight presentation.
Shot on various locations.
